GENERAL  CAR  RENTAL  CONDITIONS  

Minimum age of the driver 18 years.
Driver licence (national or international) with at least 1 year value.
Rental time at least 24 hours (1 day).
The counting of the km starts and ends at the rental place.
Traffic fines, caused by the renter will be also paid by him.

INSURANCE

THE FULL INSURANCE COVERS YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, AS WELL FOR THE UNDER PART OF THE CAR, THE WHEELS AND BROKEN GLASS.
Personal insurance is available for 2 Euros per day.
This insurance is to be paid extra.

OUR RATES INCLUDE

THE FULL INSURANCE COVERS YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, AS WELL FOR THE UNDER PART OF THE CAR, THE WHEELS AND BROKEN GLASS.
LOCAL TAXES AND STAMP DUTIES ARE 19 % OF THE LOCAL PRICE.
SERVICE OF THE CAR.
IN CASE OF MOTOR DAMAGE REPLACEMENT OF THE CAR.
CHILDREN SEAT AND ROOF RACK ON REQUEST.
ROAD MAPS.

FREE OF CHARGE DELIVERY OF THE CAR TO / FROM THE HOTELS NEAR THE TOWN. 

GENERAL BIKE  RENTAL  CONDITIONS

RENTER’S AND DRIVER’S AGE: At least 16 years old for group A and 18 years old for the other groups.
DRIVER’S LICENCE: Drive must have a valid aged 12 months.
TERMS OF PAYMENT: The exact rental cost is prepaid.
TAXES: All rates are subject to 19 % V.A.T.
INSURANCE: All authorized drivers of STERLING bikes are covered against fire, and liability to third parties for death, injury or covered to property. Driver’s responsibility for collision damages of STERLING rented bikes is for the first Euro 1.467 for Groups A, B and Euro 2.934 for Groups D and 5.869 for Groups E, F, H.
i) FULL INSURANCE (WITH OWN RISK)
The renters responsibility mentioned above can be waived by paying daily 3 euros. For bikes group A 4 euros. For group B, C, D 5 euros. For groups E, F, I provided collision damages were not.
ii) SPECIAL FULL INSURANCE (WITHOUT OWN RISK)
For the groups A price is 7 euros daily.
For the groups B, C, D price is 8 euros daily.
For the groups E, F, H price is 10 euros daily.
TAXES AND FULL INSURANCE ARE NOT INCLUDED IN OUR RATES.
GASOLINE: Paid by the customer.
MINIMUM RENTAL CHARGE: One day
SHIPPING OF BIKES: It is only allowed if STERLING authorises in writing.
RENT IT HERE / LEAVE IT THERE SYSTEM: Applicable in Crete provided an advance approval is obtained from STERLING.
TRAFFIC FINES
IN HIGH SEASON: All prices are 20 % more.
